About RnR Productions
An independent, Canadian-owned AV and event production company, started in Calgary in 2024 by two people who'd spent their careers making other people's events work.
Why we started RnR
We spent years inside the AV business: in theatres, in hotel ballrooms, and in the operations offices of big national providers. We saw what clients got when the relationship ended once the contract was signed, and when the person who sold the show wasn't the person who ran it.
RnR is the company we wanted to hire. Founder-led on every job, straight about pricing, and built around production rather than just renting boxes. Our tagline says it: Everyone Deserves a Little RnR.
Our founders
Rob Evans, Co-Founder
Rob has worked in AV for more than 25 years. He started in high school and has since worked as a Technical Director, Event Producer and Director of Operations. He's good at turning complicated logistics into a show that runs smoothly on site. He's the one who'll ask about your audience before he asks about your screen size.
Rob Doak, Co-Founder
Rob Doak brings more than 30 years across TV broadcast, film and live events. He is an award-winning Technical Director and Production Manager, known for pushing what's technically possible on a show, and has delivered award-winning events across the country from first concept to final cue.
